Drawing from Life

Come learn the basics of drawing.  Learn the basic foundations of drawing by studying and observing objects from life (still-life, landscape, figural, etc.).  Shape/form, negative space, shadow/light, and composition will be the main areas of focus.  Students will explore drawing using a variety of exciting mediums, and will also be learning how to keep a sketchbook.  The class will be held both outside and inside.  We will also be studying art history by looking at the drawings of artists such as Degas, Seurat, Leonardo DaVinci and more!. A $30. materials fee is payable to the instructor at the first class.
