Traditional Painting

Traditional Painting techniques and subject matter will be explored while focusing on various styles, artistic periods and inspirations in art.  Studio work will include traditional approaches to composition, color theory, perspective and skill development to create meaningful works of art while making personal connections.  Still life, portrait, landscape, and collage paintings ranging from realistic to abstract will be the focus of this course.  A $15 materials fee is payable to the instructor during the first class, and a materials list is available in the office.  Please pick one up prior to the first class.
