Handmade Tile Memory Photo Album (9-12yrs)

Students will enjoy creating a handmade tile for the cover of their own keepsake memory photo album! Students will design their own tile album cover out of clay adding hints of color using underglazes. Instructor will fire tiles and adhere to album. Clay Snowflake Workshop

Students will have fun cutting out paper snow flakes and then carving them out of clay! We will be using white clay (unglazed) and pieces will be fired.

Handmade Tile Mosaic Mirror

Students will love to create their own handmade tile mirror wall hanging. Instructor will demonstrate impressed, carved and sculpted handmade tiles and will allow students to create their own theme. Tiles will be created the first class and glazed the 2nd class and adhered on the third class. Tiles will be mounted on board and ready to hang. A $20 materials fee is payable to the instructor during the first class.
