Acrylic & Oil Painting for Teens

Bring drawing materials to the first class. We will discuss acrylic and oil painting materials and techniques. Students will learn to create form and depth through first making an underpainting, and then adding color glazes. Be ready to amaze yourself. Materials list is available in the office.

Anime-zing Details

This class is designed for those who truly love detailed drawing and anime. Learn the art of fine point details for anime characters and explore shading, color blending and other details of a finished character. All Levels welcome. A $10 materials fee is payable to the instructor during the first class. Please bring a sketchbook, drawing pencils, and black fine point markers. No Class 11/27/08

Cartooning & Comic Art

This course explores the dynamic art forms of cartooning and comic art. Students gain a working knowledge of techniques and concepts used by professional cartoonists and comic illustrators but with an emphasis on fun and learning. The sessions will cover the various styles of cartoon and comic art. Students will be encouraged to create their own characters as well as develop sequential art from plots they draft.
