As we turn the calendar page into September (almost), we at CCAA are thinking ahead to the excitement that is Plein Air Brandywine Valley, a painting and photography competition, show and sale featuring the beauty of the Brandywine Valley interpreted by the finest local and national artists.  For an overview of each day’s picturesque sites during the week of September 26, visit the plein air web-site.


Artists can also purchase day passes to paint at select sites.  Work created on a day pass can then be included in the art show and sale at the Gala on September 30 and at the show/sale on October 1 and 2, all taking place at Tatnall School.  This artwork is not, however, eligible for the prizes being awarded. 

Part of the proceeds from the event benefit CCAA’s ArtReach scholarship programs and the Children’s Beach House.
