Trunk Show - jewelry and accessories

exhibit location:
Exton
October 2

A "Meet & Greet"  reception will be held from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday, October 4th

It’s a Jewelry & Accessories Trunk Show!  The featured artists and artisans include Beth Bobey, Beth Chaunce, Michelle Dirks, Amy Flis, Adele Jacobs, Jen Snyder, Maria Varnalis and Kalliopie Mihalos Rojas. Each brings their own insights and background to work that includes original and one-of-a-kind jewelry, paintings, fine art photography and hand-made mosaics and ceramics

The high quality of the work is perhaps exemplified by that of

jewelry designers Beth Chaunce and Jennifer Snyder.  They each have a background working in other mediums including ceramics, and photography, though they are best known for their hand-crafted jewelry.

Both women  are similarly inspired by nature and organic forms, but each, of course, create entirely different work.

Snyder earned her undergraduate degree from West Chester University, graduating cum laude with a concentrating in ceramics, sculpture, and printmaking.

Chaunce is known for her use of brightly colored fused-glass (see below) and metalwork that combines silver and gold. Her use of shells, found objects of nature, and “beach” glass is the result of years summering in Martha’s Vineyard.
