Focusing on Different Views - Terri Winkler and Tim Vaughan
Chester County Art Association’s newest show--Focusing on Different Views--opens Saturday, July 10 at CCAA’s Exton Square Studio gallery. Photographers Terri Winkler and Tim Vaughan while training their attention on different subjects, display a similar crisp precision.
Winkler has lived in Chester County for twenty years. Her photographs of landscapes and flowers are meticulous studies of nature’s amazements. Each high-definition image of a flower captures its startling beauty, its particular essence. In Vaughan’s work one is struck by a distant view, the detailed facade of a row home, or an aerial angle of slanting red and gray rooftops arranged like a deck of playing cards. He is after the scene which has previously gone unnoticed. The show runs through July 31st. The exhibition’s opening reception is July 10 from 1 – 5pm and is free and open to the public; both artists will be there to discuss their work. CCAA’s Exton Square Studio is located on the first floor of the Exton Square Mall by Boscov’s.
Please note new summer gallery hours: Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays 11 – 5.
