Philip Jamison : Watercolors

This show has been extended by popular demand.
The Chester County Art Association is thrilled to present as its first exhibition of the year thirty of renowned artist Philip Jamison’s never-before-seen watercolors. Long known for his work’s exacting beauty, the subtlety and sureness of these pieces is remarkable. The thirty works were painted during Jamison’s summers spent in Maine and capture both the intimacy and grandeur of Maine’s coastline and inlets. Also included are several countryside landscapes, some muted and evocative interiors, and a suite of precise wildflower paintings depicting delicate arrangements both outdoors and in. The show is open in West Chester through April 29th. Our galleries, as always, are free and open to the public.
