Chester County Art Association (CCAA) was founded in 1931 by local leaders, including renowned artist N.C. Wyeth. It was envisioned as a community-minded organization of local residents and artists, and met this vision from the outset.

In the 75 plus years since its founding, the art center has grown tremendously. Its astonishing range of activities include educational activities and classes for adults and children alike, with vital scholarships provided for children who are most in need; one-person and group exhibitions, in diverse media, that consistently garner strong reviews and attendance as well as bring new artistic perspectives to our community; trips and tours, including excursions to exhibitions at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, Broadway shows in New York City, and artists’ studios; a lecture series that provides a venue for artists, writers, performers of the arts; and strong community involvement, including outreach activities, satellite exhibitions throughout the region, galas and receptions, and much more.
