Come learn many fun ways to paint with acrylics! Students will be painting with acrylics on a variety of surfaces (different types of paper, canvas, wood, found objects, etc.). Students will also be learning basic color theory and will start by creating their own large color wheels. Students will also look at the artwork of a variety of artists from history up to the present, and participate in a large group project (possibly a small mural). They will also be keeping sketchbook. A $30 materials fee is payable to the instructor at the first class.
