In order to paint well, one must first be able to draw well. So for the first part of this class, students will use a variety of media to lay down the fundamentals of drawing.  We will concentrate on volume, tone, perspective, depth and other basics.  This will prepare the students for the second and more colorful part of the class; painting!  Students will learn the principles of painting to create a masterpiece where there was previously a blank canvas.  A $35 materials fee is payable to the instructor at the first class.
