In this workshop, we'll explore a range of artistic uses for discarded books.  We'll focus especially on creating a piece of sculpture by altering and using discarded books.

Materials are included in the tuition.

Each of us interprets a story in our own particular way.  In this workshop, we'll learn the art of vivid storytelling through creative image-making.

A sampling of the projects that have been my favorites (and my students' favorites) over the years, including using a wide variety of materials and techniques to create original works of art!  $25 materials fee is payable to the instructor the first day of class.

Students will explore the possibilities of creating art through mixed media.  Upon completion of the course each student will have at least three mixed media paintings on canvas.  Techniques include drawing and painting in a fiqurative manner and incorporating abstract qualities. collage, and found objects into your painting.  Materials will be discussed at the first class. 

Get your "art passport" ready to visit countries around the world to create art based on those countries and their cultures.  Classes will include drawing, painting, printmaking, mixed media, 3D art and clay.  Get ready to create!  A $30 materials fee is payable to the instructor during the first class.
