Sister Act Broadway Musical - Trip to NYC
Based on the smash-hit film, London’s acclaimed record-breaking musical sensation has arrived on Broadway. Nominated for 5 Tony Awards, including Best Musical, Sister Act features an original score by 8-time Oscar and 10-time Grammy award winner, Alan Menken. Whoopi Goldberg is the producer. It’s been called a sparkling tribute to the universal power of friendship. When disco diva Deloris Van Cartier witnesses a crime, she is put in protective custody in the one place cops are sure she won’t be found – a convent! Using her killer voice to inspire the choir, Deloris breathes new life into the church and community, but in doing so blows her cover.
