A Magical 2025 Christkindlmarkt --
​and We’re Already Looking Ahead to 2026

The Chester County Art Association’s 6th Annual Christkindlmarkt in 2025 was a truly magical celebration, transforming Gay Street in downtown West Chester into a festive winter wonderland. With over 80 local artists and vendors, thousands of visitors enjoyed handcrafted gifts, fine art, gourmet treats, twinkling lights, and joyful holiday music. The energy, community spirit, and support for local creatives made this year’s market one of our most memorable yet. We are incredibly grateful to our artists, partners, volunteers, and everyone who joined us to celebrate the season.

Christkindlmarkt in 2026.

The 7th annual Christkindlmarkt is returning to Gay Street on Saturday, December 12th from 11:00am – 6:00pm!

Presented by the West Chester Downtown Foundation and hosted by the Chester County Art Association & Downtown West Chester, this outdoor holiday market is free to the public. The Christkindlmarkt will feature over 100 vendors offering individually handcrafted and locally-designed products, such as art, ceramics, jewelry, homewares, and much more!

Location & Parking


​The Christkindlmarkt will be held in Downtown West Chester, PA on Gay Street (Between Darlington Street & Matlack Street) and Church Street (Between Prescott Alley & Gay Street). Streets in the event area will be closed to vehicles all day. All crossroads (besides Church Street) will be open as normal.
Downtown West Chester has a variety of on-street parking, surface lots, and parking garages available.
  • The Bicentennial Garage, Chestnut Street Garage, and all parking lots will have a special event fee of $20/car. The fee will go into effect starting at 8am.
  • All other on-street parking spaces and garages will be their typical rates.
