D&D Club Character Building Workshop

​4 to 6 PM
In this one day workshop we will build your Dungeons and Dragons Character that is needed to play D&D. Before this workshop I will email races and character classes to look over so you have an idea of what you want to play as before we meet up.
Introduction to Zentangle®

Zentangle® is a meditative art form creating beautiful abstract patterns using simple repetitive strokes. Students will be introduced to the basic steps of the Zentangle Method and expose them to associated vocabulary with drawing tools used. ​

In this hands-on workshop, students will learn basic spoke-and-weave basketry as they create their own market  basket. All necessary tools, mold, cane, and reed will be provided, and you’ll choose from a variety of colored weaving materials to personalize your piece.
Resonance in the Gallery: An Immersive Sound Experience

Rest deeply among art and atmosphere as immersive sound waves guide you into relaxation. Gentle tones from crystal singing bowls, gongs, chimes, and other therapeutic instruments calm the nervous system and invite stillness, balance and renewal. ​

A nurturing, non-judgmental workshop designed to teach the structured, meditative method of creating art using, simple, repetitive, strokes to produce intricate designs. It focuses on mindfulness rather than technical drawing skills.

The historic art of traditional hand hooked  rugs has been admired since colonial times. Like many forms of art, hooked  rugs were made out of necessity, utilizing scraps and upcycling. By pulling up one loop at a time you can create a beautiful 8” by 8” heirloom textile. This class is for beginners.

In this workshop, participants will explore Zentangle-Inspired Art (ZIA) while creating a beautiful wooden pumpkin. The session includes some foundational Zentangle® strokes.
Using a special Sakura Identi-Pen® for crisp, permanent line work, students build a layered composition that balances pattern, texture, and flow.

Gel plates are soft, reusable printing surfaces that let you create beautiful textures, layered patterns, and unique color blends without needing a press. Each impression is different, making every piece of jewelry truly original. You’ll explore playful printing techniques, experiment with color, and discover how to transfer your designs onto jewelry components.
