Our West Chester Galleries are comprised of two formal gallery spaces, Allinson Gallery and Huston Gallery. Regional and local artwork is displayed 9 months out of the year, and during the summer months the galleries are converted into summer art camp spaces.

​Curated exhibits are presented in conjunction with juried/non-juried group and members shows to encourage artists of all levels to exhibit their work in public. Sales support the individual artists as well as CCAA. Opening receptions are free and open to the public.

Allinson Gallery

The Philadelphia Pastel Society was founded in 2019 by a group of local artists who had a passion for painting with soft pastels.  They wanted to provide exhibition and educational opportunities for regional artists who work in the soft pastel medium.  The non-profit 501(c)(3) organization has rapidly grown to 135 members, and is a member of the International Association of Pastel Societies. We are seeking to provide a supportive community for artists where ideas are shared and educational activities benefit all. Together, we hope to promote the soft pastel medium throughout our region. ​

Huston Gallery

 l presently paint mostly in pastels, often over a watercolor underpainting. I prefer to paint nature where I can work quickly, loosely, and take liberties without being precise.
​My style  could be described as Impressionism / contemporary realism.
The scenes that I paint are often things that  other people may not take the time to notice and  I hope that my paintings bring a little peace and unity to the world.
