Students with sensory differences will be allowed to express themselves with art. Each week will focus on a different sense and a unique sensory profile will be designed for each student. This program is designed to provide insight on how the body is affected by different senses and different techniques and strategies to enhance or limit the bodies’ ability to process the sensory input creating a safe environment to explore. Before each class, students will start with a warm-up activity to help “wake up” their proprioception and interception senses. The student will go home with a unique piece of art every sense that is expressed. Please note that this class is for ages 10+. Children and adults are both welcome!
