DIANNE WALSHI’m a fiber artist based in West Chester for over 50 years, and I've been knitting since my teens. After retiring 10 years ago, I’ve focused on developing my craft full-time. While I mainly hand-knit, I also use crochet and weaving.
I design wearable items like scarves, hats, shawls, and occasionally larger projects like sweaters and coats. I also create wall hangings, toys, and household items, often using colorful, textured yarns and embellishments like ribbons, beads, and buttons. Many projects incorporate leftover yarn to reduce waste, turning scraps into unique, durable pieces like hats and scarves. |

AMANDA CHURCHMy love for crafts developed at an early age. Over the years, I have made many origami objects, with varying success. Six years ago, I discovered Modular Origami and became fascinated at the concept of using one folded shape to form limitless forms. Each model is unique in its own way.

ANONDI GUIGNARD
My art explores color in abstract art and portrayals of nature, to bring well-being into our daily lives. I make art with watercolors and acrylic paints, and also love to make useful items such as painted accessories and home decor. |
The act of turning wood is meditative for me, offering moments of quiet reflection and mindfulness as I work with my hands. What began as an exploration in a neighbor’s garage, has grown into a passion for creating functional art infused with artistry and care that can be used, touched, and appreciated every day. Each bowl is a testament to the timeless process of creating by hand, and I hope my pieces bring warmth, character, and a sense of connection to the spaces they inhabit.

COLLEEN EMERYMy work is a reflection of the ocean's quite beauty, capturing it's ever- changing essence through Sea Glass and Coastal Shells in Shadow Box Frames. |
EIREN GRAVERI turn to nature for reassurance, finding meaning, beauty, and healing in her colors and textures. My work, whether abstract or figurative, reflects this love and offers hope and comfort in our fast-paced world.
I hold a Bachelor’s in Liberal Studies from West Chester University and a teaching certification from Emerson College, UK, with over 20 years in education. In 2014, I attended the Free Columbia Program for Art and Social Renewal in NY. After encouraging others to embrace creativity, I took my own advice in 2020. Struggling with chronic health issues, I fully dedicated myself to art. Starting this journey in midlife has been both daunting and exhilarating, and I'm grateful every day to follow my passion. |

JENNIFER KASITZFascinated by nature since childhood, this Philadelphia-area artist brings natural themes to life with vibrant colors. A self-taught artist with a background in Special Education, she aims to captivate, inspire, and inform through her work. Passionate about fostering a love for nature, she even gives away plants to get others "hooked"—a true plant-pusher!
Jen has written and illustrated a children's book, illustrated three others, and created numerous commissioned works, including oil paintings. Originally from New Jersey, she now lives in Coatesville, PA, with her family, two cats, and two dogs. An avid gardener, she finds joy in making urban spaces bloom. |
JILL KEEFERJill Keefer has spent her lifetime creating and supporting the arts. She started her professional career as a graphic artist and supported her children in a variety of volunteer gigs -- from an annual art gala to marching band mom to Girl Scout leader. With her kids mostly out of the house, Jill had time to focus on her own interests and get her hands dirty. Jill splits her time between hand building and throwing on the wheel and can't decide which she likes best. |
LINELL COHENLinell is a local artist in the Delaware County region. She studied art at Rosemont College and received her BA in art therapy. She draws inspiration mostly from nature- taking photographs of the surrounding area then interpreting those images into abstract watercolor paintings. MARTI PHILLIPSIn my ceramic work I love to experiment with using pieces thrown on the wheel and then attaching them or adding embellishments. I find exploring the boundaries of the clay and shaping it into something functional is very satisfying. I am always looking to nature for ideas to connect with my pieces. Working with the community during weekly open studio time at the Chester County Art Association has been inspiring and delightful. |
MICHELE FAIRLEYColor is central to the design of my hand-crafted jewelry. A featured hand-blown glass or hand-made ceramic bead is combined with beads that complement and enhance its colors. Woven beaded bracelets and earring patterns are designed in Adobe Illustrator, using bead colors for my palette. I also hammer copper and then torch the copper for a color patina. The elements in a finished piece should work together harmoniously, but I like to add a visual surprise every now and then.

PHIL BINDERAs an artist, I believe beauty can be found in the overlooked, discarded, and forgotten materials, such as recycled lawn mower blades, steel pipes, and industrial scrap. These items, once bound for the landfill, are transformed through forging into functional and poetic pieces, blending strength, sustainability, and elegance. Inspired by nature, I also create sculptural works that celebrate the resilience and beauty of the natural world, bridging the gap between industrial materials and the organic forms of trees, vines, and leaves. Through hand-forging, I preserve the rawness of these materials, allowing their imperfections and history to shine, while embracing sustainability and the potential for transformation.

SHEILA STARTUP
As a cyanotype artist, I explore the intersection of light, time, and form. Using natural elements like leaves and flowers, I expose them to sunlight, creating unique prints that capture nature’s fleeting beauty. Cyanotype is a meditation on life’s impermanence, evoking timelessness through deep blues and intricate details. The process, full of chance and transformation, mirrors nature’s constant change. Now, as a retired art teacher, I embrace this slow, mindful practice to create work that reflects nature’s quiet beauty and emotional depth.

FRANCOIS GUIGNARDI started linoleum block printing a few years ago and with it I try to transform an ordinary subject matter, situation or moment into a small piece of artwork worthy of hanging on a wall. I use mostly single colors that strongly contrast with the paper the art is printed on, with a preference for black on white.
