We always have volunteer opportunities for our events as well as on-going projects tied to our educational programs! Individuals, student service groups, community service volunteers, and company teams are all welcome.
Sample projects include summer camp assistance; general administrative support; helping with art opening receptions; art library support; landscaping; and special event needs.
Current clearances are required for all of our teachers as well as all volunteers who work with children.

Adopt a Flowerbed Program
Adopt-a-Flowerbed is an effort to encourage community involvement in the enhancement of the Chester County Art Association. Now is your chance to help make a difference! The Chester County Art Association is looking for volunteers to help keep our flowerbeds in top shape. We have 7 small gardens that will need attention throughout the summer and fall.
Who can adopt a garden? Gardeners, families, scout troops, clubs, groups of friends and individuals in need of volunteer hours. Weeding and pruning are our main need for assistance. We are in need of caregivers for the months of June – October (fall clean up). You can come on your own schedule. If you can only volunteer for one day or for an entire month, any time given is greatly appreciated.
The Adopt a Flowerbed Program will allow interested people, groups and businesses the opportunity to get involved and show their pride in the community by adopting one of the gardens to keep the art center looking its best.
If you or your group would like to adopt a flowerbed please contact Laurie Moran at [email protected] or 610-696-5600 x1 to schedule a time to meet. Beds are reserved on a first come first served basis.

o Remove and dispose of litter and weeds in designated area
o Water plants as needed – hose and watering cans provided
o Provide own hand tools for area maintenance & follow safety precautions while using
o Notify CCAA liaison of problems or concerns
o Plant and move plants approved by the CCAA liaison
o Winter\spring preparation of beds
